Volunteers Keep Our Wheels Turning
A little time goes a long way. Please help bring food and friendship to our senior neighbors.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are often the only contact our seniors have all day. A warm smile and caring attitude go a long way to brightening a senior’s day. In addition to delivering a hot, nutritious meal, you can be our eyes and ears to alert us of any safety concerns that can affect their well-being.
DELIVERY DRIVER
Deliver meals to homebound seniors at lunchtime, Mondays through Fridays. You can deliver as little or as often as you’re available. A typical route takes approximately an hour to deliver. Pick up your meals at your assigned meal distribution site and then head out for door-to-door deliveries. Volunteer alone or with family or friends. Children are welcome with adult supervision.
SUBSTITUTE DRIVER
Substitutes perform the same activities as regularly scheduled drivers. As a substitute driver, you will most likely have a different route each time you fill in for other drivers.
